Daily NeedsMy art life is dead. Gone. Poofed. Seriously. I started a drawing of my friend back in August and I haven't touched it since the day I started it. I have a bunch of other things I want to draw, but I can't because of school, band, homework, band, sleep, band, eating.. Did I mention band?
Lol. Band does not take up that much of my life. I really like band, actually. The only thing that's killing me about it right now is that we got new sets of coordinates the other day (in the process of cleaning our show) and I have an orthodontist appointment tomorrow...during after-school rehearsal, no less. Our band director has a huge weight on rehearsal grades (60%), so it is going to majorly affect my grade. My dad's known about this for a long time now and he refuses to reschedule my orthodontist appointment. He does not understand the impact that is going to have on my grade. It's terrible! My A will be brought down to a C, maybe a B if Mr. Wright likes my playing test well enough to give me a 100. Of course that's impossible, since there's no such thing as a perfect scale, so that's empty faith. So yeah.
Other than that, band is fantastic. We're cleaning our show right now (it rained at our last rehearsal and it felt wonderful and we could concentrate on our show better) and yeah. I love it. Best class in the entire day, and it's gotten better since we are now setting to coordinates and not form (although some of the saxes still need to take bigger steps in the third song), except that Nikki keeps yelling at us (flutes and saxes) for interval problems, even though the mighty PVC piping with tape on it says we are in our right spots. -shrugg- But oh well.
School is....painful. Really. Team Sports has not gotten any more interesting, although I have been just throwing the frisbee with some senior and a guy named Austin (both of whom curse a lot) until Tuesday. Austin went to who-knows-where and the senior went to hang out with some other group of freshmen who I am honestly scared to be around for their language and conversation topics. So I am back to just walking around the field, which is fine because I can work on marching techniques like toe-stepping, crab-stepping, roll-stepping... But anyway. Human Geo is almost as boring as ever. I've started paying attention more in class so I'm actually getting something out of it... But mostly it's obvious stuff that I didn't even need to read to find out. We spend half an hour on the bellringer. And then another half hour for a five-question quiz that is made up primarily of matching words to their definitions. So yeah. AP Bio is awesome. I really like that class and my teacher. He is amazing. Seriously. I can't tell how right now for lack of time, but yeah. Awesome! ^_^

<-- ruinedSo yeah. There's this guy. In three of my classes. He's nice. An old friend of mine told me that said guy wanted to ask me out for homecoming. I told him if he really wanted to that he should come ask me himself. Come on! I don't bite hard. =]
